A dosing 5 ml spoon is provided with the bottle.
Adults and children over 12 years old:
3 teaspoons (15 ml) 3 times a day.
Children aged 6 to 12 years:
1 (5 ml) to 2 teaspoons (10 ml) 3 times a day.
Children aged 3 to 6 years:
1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day.

Mallow Althaea officinalis is a 50-150 cm tall, well-developed plant, whose leaves are overgrown with velvety hairs. The flowers grow on short stems. Mallow grows in wet meadows, along streams and in populated areas. It blooms from July to August.
Thickened roots (Althaeae radix) of one- or two-year-old plants are collected in autumn. This is when the level of mucus in them is at its highest. In autumn the root contains 15% of mucus, and in spring only 5-6%, while the leaves have 6-9% of mucus. In the root mucus is located in special tubules, which are formed following the mucous secretion in the cell wall structures. In addition to mucus, the root contains pectin, plant sterols, proteins and amino acids.
